Duties & Taxes for U.S. Orders
What U.S. shoppers should know about sales tax, customs duties, and carrier fees.
Calculated by destination
Applicable U.S. sales tax may be added at checkout based on the delivery address and current law.
Depends on fulfillment
Orders entering the U.S. from another country may be assessed duties or carrier fees. Orders fulfilled domestically generally do not cross U.S. customs.

Common duties and tax questions
Will I have to pay customs duties on a Yoitzi order?
It depends on where the order is fulfilled and how it enters the United States. If an order ships internationally, U.S. customs or the carrier may assess charges. Check the product page and checkout for order-specific information.
Is sales tax the same as a customs duty?
No. Sales tax is a state or local tax that may be calculated at checkout. A customs duty is a government charge that can apply when goods enter a country.
What happens if an item ships from Korea?
An internationally shipped order may be reviewed by U.S. customs, and the carrier may request payment of duties, taxes, or processing fees if they apply.
Does Yoitzi prepay import duties?
Do not assume duties are prepaid unless the product page or checkout explicitly says they are included. Contact Yoitzi before ordering if the fee treatment is unclear.
Can charges change after I place an order?
Government assessments and carrier processing fees are outside a retailer’s direct control. Order-specific information shown at checkout is the best available estimate before purchase.
What should I do if a carrier asks me to pay a fee?
Review the carrier notice and contact Yoitzi with your order number before refusing delivery. Refused packages may create return or carrier costs under the applicable policy.
